Landscape Architect

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading municipal landscape architecture and planning projects, including plan reviews, site inspections, parks and recreation plans, greenways, trails, and open space plans. This role requires a strong understanding of landscape architecture principles, as well as excellent communication and project management skills.

• Prepare plan reviews, including site visits to confirm existing conditions.
• Perform inspections of tree protection and assess tree disturbance/tree preservation conditions.
• Prepare parks and recreation plans and reports, including parks master site development plans, conceptual plans, and construction documents.
• Develop comprehensive parks, recreation, open space, greenways, and trails plans.
• Prepare corridor studies, streetscape plans, and conservation plans and reports.
• Prepare PowerPoint presentations and renderings for projects.
• Develop and assemble site analysis documents, concepts diagrams, and reports for projects.
• Prepare grant applications and grant administration services for projects with various local, county, state, and federal grant programs.
• Attend municipal meetings, including staff-level meetings and evening meetings with Boards and Commissions.

• Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture or related field.
• Registered Professional Landscape Architect in Pennsylvania.
• 4+ years of Landscape Architecture experience.

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Exceptional graphic communication and oral and written communication skills.
• General knowledge of plant materials, construction materials, and grading and drainage design.
