Job Overview

Gvest Capital, a closely held Real Estate commercial and residential development firm, is seeking an experienced Financial Manager to oversee its financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Account Payables and Check Runs: Manage accounts payable and ensure timely check runs.
  • Record Transactions in General Ledger: Record transactions in the general ledger and prepare journal entries.
  • Loan Draw Requests: Process loan draw requests and manage related documentation.
  • Invoice Management: Manage invoice queues and ensure timely payments.
  • Wires and Deposits: Record wires and deposits accurately.
  • Office Administration: Open USPS mail, scan, and distribute documents as needed.
  • Payroll Administration: Manage payroll processes and ensure compliance.
  • Credit Card Reconciliation: Reconcile credit card statements and ensure accurate accounting.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports for loan requirements and management.
Qualifications:
  • Previous Accounting Experience: Proven experience in accounting or related fields.
  • Fundamental GAAP Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Education and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field; certifications like CPA are desirable.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer accounting programs, including Rent Manager and AVID.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
