The Hospitals of Providence is seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our team in El Paso, Texas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and complex laboratory analyses and procedures on blood, body fluids, and exudates from patients.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure accurate test results.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide timely and effective patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest laboratory techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field, or equivalent with 10 years of experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences or related field, or equivalent.
  • MT (ASCP) or equivalent registry, or MLT (ASCP) with 10 years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English.
  • Ability to learn and integrate technical aspects of the laboratory.
  • Ability to make quick and accurate decisions under stress and emergency situations.
