Warehouse Operator Job Description

Guardian Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled Warehouse Operator to join our team in Lawrenceburg, IN. As a Warehouse Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient movement of materials and products within our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Unload and load flatbed or box trailers with empty barrels, ensuring accurate inventory management.
  • Operate various machines to fill and dump barrels, maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
  • Coordinate barrel movement to ensure the right barrels are available for production, minimizing delays and errors.
  • Assist maintenance personnel in equipment repair, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with supervision to address any issues or concerns.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Pass a Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Check.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Personal computer skills.
  • Mathematical skills are required.
  • Heavy physical requirements, including lifting in excess of 75 lbs. repeatedly.
Physical Demands:
  • Lifting in excess of 75 lbs. repeatedly.
  • Extensive walking, climbing, stairs, kneeling, and stooping throughout the shift.
  • Standing for long periods, up to 6 hours.
  • Ability to work in dusty conditions.
  • Physical dexterity: Use of mechanical tools that require precision.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces.
  • Ability to endure exposure to high heat and cold throughout the shift.
