We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Fleet Manager to join our team at AiLO Logistics. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving cost savings through efficient maintenance practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and oversee company equipment maintenance to ensure compliance with FMCSA and DOT guidelines.
  • Schedule and coordinate preventative maintenance services on a weekly basis.
  • Develop and implement a Preventative Maintenance Program to ensure equipment is kept in optimal condition.
  • Oversee the effective use of our computerized maintenance management system (TMT).
  • Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities through efficient maintenance practices.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective repairs.
  • Recruit and manage service vendors as needed.
  • Coordinate equipment repairs between shops and plants.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and maintenance tracking.
  • Negotiate repair costs and approve repair expenses up to an authorized limit.
  • Monitor and maintain company equipment in all shops.
  • Update Breakdown Report as needed.
  • Participate in weekly Manager Meetings.
  • Hold weekly meetings with the Maintenance Team.
  • Conduct bi-annual performance reviews with staff.
  • Maintain DOT compliance and documentation.
  • Review and approve work orders and invoices.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in maintenance operations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical training preferred.
  • 2-3 years of managerial experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and associated programs; fleet management software experience a plus.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Goal-oriented, highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to understand cost and budget principles.
  • Solid understanding of DOT regulations.
