  • Maintain cleanliness in designated areas including offices, conference rooms, communal spaces, restrooms, and storage areas.
  • Perform essential tasks such as floor care, dusting, waste disposal, and managing snow and ice removal from entrances and pathways.
  • Identify and report any maintenance needs, building concerns, or unusual situations that may arise during cleaning operations.
  • Manage and care for cleaning supplies, equipment, and access keys responsibly.
  • Assist in the preparation of facilities for scheduled events as needed.
  • This role is classified as Emergency Personnel, requiring attendance during emergencies and operational disruptions as directed by supervisors.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Ability to comprehend and execute instructions effectively, including the safe use of cleaning agents and equipment.
  • Physical capability to perform tasks such as walking, standing, climbing, lifting up to 35 lbs., bending, and shoveling snow.
  • Proficient in the safe and efficient operation of both manual and powered cleaning machinery.
  • Willingness to learn and operate heavy-duty floor care equipment.
  • This position is designated as Emergency Personnel, necessitating readiness to report during critical situations.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Background in customer service or public-facing roles.
  • Familiarity with various cleaning techniques and methods.
  • Prior experience in cleaning roles within institutional or commercial settings such as hospitality, healthcare, or educational institutions.
  • Experience operating professional-grade cleaning equipment.
