Brand Overview

Hairitage by Mindy McKnight is a top-ranking brand at Walmart, expanding nationally in 2024 and distributed on Amazon, CVS, Kroger, HEB, with new retailer launches planned for 2025. Hairitage empowers beauty with clean, high-performing products, driven by family and community inclusivity for diverse hair types and textures.

Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Senior Brand Manager with CPG background to develop and implement brand strategy and marketing plans for core business and new brand launches. This role requires analyzing market research, sales data, and consumer insights to inform strategic decisions and drive growth. Key responsibilities include managing brand teams, cross-functional collaboration, and executing brand initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Brand Strategy & Planning: Collaborate with the Sr. Director to develop brand strategies and annual marketing plans, aligning business objectives with consumer needs and competitive landscapes.
  • Market Research & Analysis: Analyze market trends, sales data, and consumer insights to identify opportunities for growth and adjust plans accordingly.
  • Project Management & Execution: Manage key brand projects, including advertising, merchandising, promotions, and innovation, ensuring timely execution with excellence.
  • Creative Content & Connections: Develop brand equity through creative content and seamless connections to commerce, defining data-driven audiences and setting content strategies.
  • Budget Management & P/L: Own and manage the marketing budget, ensuring cross-functional alignment and year-end budget performance.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related field, MBA preferred.
  • Experience: 5 years of brand marketing or management experience, preferably in CPG from a Fortune 500 corporation.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, flexibility, problem-solving ability, and action-oriented results.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: $110,000 - $135,000 per year, with eligibility for discretionary bonus plans based on individual and company performance.
