Job Title: Infrastructure Architect

Orion Innovation is a leading global business and technology services firm that delivers innovative solutions to clients across various industries. We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect to join our dynamic team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Infrastructure Architect to design, implement, and manage our technology infrastructure. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive infrastructure architecture strategy that aligns with our business goals.
  • Provide input on the technology stack, network topology, hardware, software, CICD, and cloud infrastructure required to meet our objectives.
  • Identify key control points within the infrastructure design and ensure monitoring and alerting of those control points.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, database administrators, and other stakeholders to integrate infrastructure components effectively.
  • Assess, design, and manage the cloud infrastructure, leveraging public and private cloud services.
  • Develop and implement security and compliance standards and best practices for the infrastructure.
  • Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to improve overall system efficiency and reliability.
  • Ensure the networking infrastructure can handle increased demand and growth.
  • Design and implement robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans for critical infrastructure components.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to infrastructure teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (12+ years) as an Infrastructure Architect or a similar role in the fintech or financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure design principles, network architecture, cloud platforms, and virtualization technologies.
  • Experience in implementing and managing highly available and scalable systems for financial applications.
  • Solid understanding of security and compliance standards in the fintech industry.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages, infrastructure automation tools, and containerization technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
