Community Recreation Specialist

About the Job
This is a temporary/substitute position with potential for continued employment opportunities after the initial assignment. Working under the direction of the Site Supervisor, the Community Recreation Specialist will assist in planning and supervising recreation activities for children at our community daycare facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a diversified program of children's activities
- Supervise and engage children during recreation activities
- Collaborate with the team to develop and implement new program ideas
- Assist the Site Supervisor in providing general supervision of assigned activities
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, plus two years of experience;
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions;
- Ability to communicate effectively with children and adults;
- Basic first aid certification;
Compensation
The estimated annual salary for this position is $48,000-$58,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
