We are in search of a dedicated and detail-oriented automotive title clerk to handle title processing within our organization. The successful candidate will possess a background in title management and documentation. Having a NOTARY PUBLIC CERTIFICATE is highly advantageous. To qualify for this position, candidates should have completed their high school education or obtained a GED. While we prefer candidates with prior experience, we offer comprehensive on-the-job training for those who are new to the field. As an automotive title clerk, a valid driver's license and fundamental computer skills are essential. Attention to detail is critical for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute various clerical and administrative tasks.
  • Verify customer account agreements, vehicle documentation, and title information.
  • Conduct data entry and ensure accurate recording of customer vehicle details in the system.
  • Manage finance and lease documentation for automobile transactions with precision.
  • Handle all federal, state, and dealer paperwork associated with vehicle transactions.
  • Complete necessary documentation for vehicle sales and leases efficiently.
  • Review all paperwork for accuracy regarding title, lien details, and taxes before submission to accounting.
  • Understand and adhere to federal, state, and local regulations impacting vehicle and finance departments.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities.
  • Experience with general office equipment (e.g., copier, fax machine).
  • Capability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Proficiency in repetitive data entry tasks and manual dexterity.
