Job Overview:

The Mobile Equipment Coordinator will collaborate closely with the Mobile Asset Team to assist management in optimizing the organization’s mobile assets and transportation objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate entry and removal of all equipment in the management system for various brands.
  • Process and finalize all necessary documentation for commercial vehicles, including trucks, trailers, and forklifts (e.g., equipment labels, insurance documentation, IFTA, registration, HUT, etc.).
  • Complete and submit annual UCR documentation.
  • Report bi-annual MCS-150 updates to the relevant authorities.
  • Submit annual 2290 forms (HUT) for company-owned vehicles exceeding 55,000 GVW.
  • Manage annual IRP registrations and renewals for all company-operated vehicles.
  • File monthly NY HUT and quarterly KY HUT reports.
  • Handle Federal/State IFTA and highway use taxes in applicable jurisdictions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

  • Potential travel to relevant offices as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Preferred: At least one year of experience in a DOT-related role.
  • Knowledge of FMCSA, DOT, and Federal Regulations concerning commercial equipment is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is preferred.
