Paramedic Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Paramedic to join our team at AMR Corp. as an Advanced Patient Care Provider. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care to our customers. You will utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures, including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids.
As a team leader, you will be responsible for assessing each call situation to determine the best course of action, working with progressive Paramedic protocols. You will also communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing each call situation to determine the best course of action
- Utilizing Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures
- Communicating with patients and loved ones
- Acting as a team leader and taking responsibility for the scene and unit management
- Driving the ambulance on 911 responses
Requirements include:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- State Paramedic License
- State Driver's License
- BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic
- Driving record in compliance with company policy
- Pass Physical Agility Test
- Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
