Supply Chain Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team at Sutter Health.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory management and a proven track record of delivering supplies and equipment to facility departments efficiently.

Responsibilities will include receiving and unpacking supplies, rotating stock, and checking for outdated materials and supplies as needed.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for building confidence and cooperation across lower-level staff and healthcare workers through highly competent job performance and effective communication.

Additionally, the Supply Chain Coordinator will adhere to and enforce local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure the privacy and safety of our patients.

This role may also involve transporting, controlling, and delivering legend drugs and dangerous devices, including needles and syringes, non-prescription drugs, contrast media, and drug-containing devices relative to core competencies of the position.

Requirements:

  • HS Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
  • 1 year recent relevant experience
  • Possess written and verbal communications skills to communicate with fellow team members, supervisors, patients, and other hospital personnel
  • Well-developed time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized policies and procedures to achieve objectives and meet deadlines
  • Basic knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook), EPIC, and related information systems
  • Interpret a variety of data and instructions, furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Prioritize assignments and work within standardized policies and procedures to achieve objectives and meet deadlines
  • Work independently, as well as be part of the team, including accomplishing multiple tasks in an environment with interruptions
  • Identify, evaluate, and resolve standard problems by selecting appropriate solutions from established options
  • Ensure the privacy of each patient's protected health information (PHI)
  • Build collaborative relationships with peers and other staff members to achieve departmental and corporate objectives
