Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Medical City Arlington. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality echocardiography procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform two-dimensional, M-mode, and Doppler echocardiography diagnostic procedures to visualize cardiac chambers, valves, and vessels.
  • Integrate echocardiography results with other diagnostic tests, such as clinical laboratory tests, nuclear cardiology, and cardiac catheterization.
  • Accurately document abnormal echocardiography and Doppler velocities indicative of cardiovascular pathophysiology.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot problems.
  • Assist in new staff member orientation and prepare patients for procedures.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer or Certificate within 1 year of employment start date.
