Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical unit at Mercy Hospital Washington. As a PRN Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to adults and pediatric patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care to adults and pediatric patients with medical and surgical conditions
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
Participate in shift report and handoff to ensure continuity of care
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in the electronic medical record

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure
ACLS and BLS certification
Ability to work a minimum of 36 hours per 6-week scheduling period
Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
