Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Trauma Acute Care

Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Arlington, Virginia. As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our Trauma Acute Care unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to work in our Trauma Acute Care unit. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in the acute care setting and a strong background in trauma care. The Registered Nurse (RN) will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients with a wide range of injuries and conditions.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in the Trauma Acute Care unit.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with complex medical needs.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless transitions of care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Virginia or privilege to practice in the State of Virginia under the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association required upon start.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in the acute care setting.
  • Strong background in trauma care.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Experience working in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
