Global Pricing Specialist

The Global Pricing Specialist will collaborate with Global Industry Sales, Product Business Units, Operations, and other Global Flow Control world area business units to develop pricing strategies and coordinate special pricing requests for all Flow Control Products.
This role will involve defining special product pricing and structure to support business unit sales initiatives, coordinating special product pricing with large projects and day-to-day pricing requests, and recording all quotations into a relational database.
The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical and problem-solving skillset, with the ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define special product pricing and structure to support business unit sales initiatives
- Coordinate special product pricing with large projects and day-to-day pricing requests
- Record all quotations into a relational database
- Review customer specifications for special processing pricing, certification, or product configuration pricing
- Evaluate the ability of Flow Controls to deliver a product
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a technical discipline
- 5 years of experience in pricing or quoting technical products
- Control valve expertise may be considered in lieu of experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective technical communication and documentation
- Good spoken and written English language communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated marketing experience with pricing or technical skills with process control equipment
- Proven organizational and interpersonal skills
- Skills for understanding and processing technical/mechanical data
- Analytical skills for planning and implementing change to pricing models
