Swim Instructor

Emerald Youth Foundation is seeking a dedicated and passionate Swim Instructor to join our team. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality swim lessons to participants of all ages and skill levels.

The Swim Instructor will be responsible for:

• Instructing swim lessons in accordance with Emerald Youth Sports Learn to Swim Program Curriculum.
• Developing positive relationships with participants and families, encouraging parent involvement.
• Providing motivational support and guidance to encourage new or inexperienced swimmers.
• Covering basic water safety skills and instruction.
• Identifying and recruiting potential volunteers.
• Maintaining required records.
• Constant surveillance of pool area to ensure safety.
• Assisting with pool and pool area upkeep and cleanliness.
• Trains and supervises volunteers as needed.
• Completes accident and incident reports as needed.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Dedicated Christian with clear knowledge of the Gospel and a passion for the mission of Emerald Youth Foundation.
• Red Cross Certified-Water Safety Instructor preferred.
• Must be able to swim.
• CPR, First Aid Certification preferred (will train if needed and sessions are available).

This is a part-time position with flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. The Swim Instructor will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about providing high-quality programs and services to the community.
