Project Superintendent

About the Role

As a Project Superintendent, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects. Your responsibilities will include overseeing all aspects of project execution, from planning and scheduling to budgeting and quality control.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.\
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution, including site management, procurement, and quality assurance.\
• Manage subcontractor relationships and negotiate contracts to meet project requirements.\
• Maintain accurate records and reports to track project progress, identify areas for improvement, and optimize resource utilization.\
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor project status, address concerns, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.\
• Ensure timely completion of projects within budget and scope while maintaining high-quality standards.\
• Foster open communication among stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams.\
• Identify and mitigate potential risks to ensure project success.\
• Document lessons learned and best practices for future project improvements.\
• Schedule and conduct meetings with project stakeholders, including weekly progress updates and bi-weekly review sessions.\
• Implement corrective actions to rectify deviations from project plans or schedules.\
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes to inform project decisions.\
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, partners, and clients to promote a positive and productive work environment.\
• Other duties as assigned by management.\
• Average salary for this role is around $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

Requirements

• \
• 5+ years of experience in construction project management or a related field.\
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.\
• Prior experience with project management software, such as Procore or similar tools.\
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.\
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.\
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.\
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.\
• Must have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.\
• Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) a plus but not necessary.
