Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Part-Time Librarian to join our team at the College of Southern Nevada. As a key member of our library staff, you will provide exceptional reference services to our diverse student population, ensuring they have access to the resources and support they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide in-person and online reference services to students, faculty, and staff
  • Assist with the assessment of library services and participate in ongoing professional development
  • Mentor and train colleagues on library instruction, assessment, and reference services
Requirements
  • Masters of Library Science or Master of Library and Information Science from an American Library Association accredited program
  • Professional and pedagogical commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion
Preferred Qualifications
  • Related experience in library services or a related field
  • Demonstrated interest in learning and using emerging technologies to improve library services and instruction
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
