We are seeking an experienced Medical Director to lead our medical operations in Ventura County, CA.

The ideal candidate will have strong surgical skills, clinical leadership experience, and the ability to mentor our veterinary team.

This is a unique opportunity to join a 37-year-old veterinary hospital with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide medical leadership and mentorship to our veterinary team
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality medicine across both locations
  • Maintain and enhance medical protocols and standards
  • Participate in recruiting and developing veterinary talent
  • Contribute to strategic planning and growth initiatives

Benefits:

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience (estimated $180,000 - $220,000)
  • Leadership compensation ranging from $150,000 - $200,000+

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an AVMA accredited college or successful completion of ECFVG/PAVE certification program
  • Minimum of 5 years clinical experience

  • California veterinary license in good standing or eligible for licensure
