We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiac Progressive Care unit at Las Palmas Medical Center. As a member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients with cardiac conditions, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with the patient, family, and healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines in cardiac care.
- RN licensure in the State of Texas or Compact.
- BCLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Associates Degree or BSN in Nursing.
- Critical care background and experience with dysrhythmia recognition, EKG proficiency, and medical nursing unit experience preferred.
