Job SummaryThis role involves implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, procedures, and special tests. You will also be responsible for ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' conditions.
Duties and Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate patient needs for, and responses to, care rendered.
- Apply sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
- Provide primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
- Administer over-the-counter and prescription medications as ordered.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients.
To be successful in this role, you will need to direct and guide ancillary personnel, maintain standards of professional nursing, and adhere to company policy and local/state/federal rules and regulations.
Salary InformationThe estimated salary range for this position is $33.00/hr - $63.98/hr, based on industry standards and location.
