Cogent Infotech Corp is seeking a skilled Production Assembly Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for conducting assembly, alignments, and final configurations of components, as well as participating in resolving production challenges and making process decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Assembly and Configuration: Conduct assembly, alignments, and final configurations of components, applying prescribed methods using a variety of hand tools, fixtures, and test equipment.
- Quality Control: Collect test data, use databases and other office programs to document the manufacturing process, and participate in resolving production challenges and making process decisions.
- Equipment Maintenance: Assist in the selection and/or set-up of specialized equipment, perform equipment set-up, calibration, and preventative maintenance, and follow audit and safety guidelines.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous process improvement, analyze and address problems independently as well as collaboratively, and support projects, perform training, and work efficiently as part of cohesive teams.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 1 year of manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience required, background in precision mechanical assembly and low-volume, sophisticated manufacturing processes required.
- Skills: Demonstrated ability in efficiently working in a team of 8-10 colleagues, ability to analyze and address problems independently as well as collaboratively, and self-motivated, self-starter with strong organizational skills.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 35lbs.
- Work Schedule: Second Shift M-F 2pm to 10pm.
