Key Responsibilities
  • Assembly and Configuration: Conduct assembly, alignments, and final configurations of components, applying prescribed methods using a variety of hand tools, fixtures, and test equipment.
  • Quality Control: Collect test data, use databases and other office programs to document the manufacturing process, and participate in resolving production challenges and making process decisions.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Assist in the selection and/or set-up of specialized equipment, perform equipment set-up, calibration, and preventative maintenance, and follow audit and safety guidelines.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous process improvement, analyze and address problems independently as well as collaboratively, and support projects, perform training, and work efficiently as part of cohesive teams.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 1 year of manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience required, background in precision mechanical assembly and low-volume, sophisticated manufacturing processes required.
  • Skills: Demonstrated ability in efficiently working in a team of 8-10 colleagues, ability to analyze and address problems independently as well as collaboratively, and self-motivated, self-starter with strong organizational skills.
Work Environment
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 35lbs.
  • Work Schedule: Second Shift M-F 2pm to 10pm.
