Job Summary

The Software Test Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software systems by designing and executing comprehensive test plans. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute test plans to ensure software systems meet requirements and specifications
  • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks to improve efficiency and reduce testing time
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs
  • Provide technical guidance and support to development teams to ensure software quality
  • Identify and report defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues
  • Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports
Requirements
  • 5 years of experience as a Software Test Engineer or similar role
  • 2+ years of Professional Coding experience with any programming language
  • 2+ years of relevant experience as part of a test team
  • 2+ years of experience contributing to test automation and frameworks
  • Experience applying different software testing techniques, such as equivalent class portioning and boundary value testing
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Technical field such as IT, Engineering, Math, Physics, or similar with Computer Science coursework or minor
Clearance
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret Clearance
Other Qualifications
  • Relevant industry certifications, such as the Certified associate in software Testing (CAST) or the International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) Certification
