Job Summary

The Software Test Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software systems by designing and executing comprehensive test plans. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure software systems meet requirements and specifications
  • Design and implement automated test scripts using PowerShell and VBS
  • Collaborate with the software development team to identify and resolve defects
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the test team
  • Contribute to the development of test automation frameworks and tools
  • Communicate test results and recommendations to stakeholders
Requirements
  • 5 years of experience as a Software Test Engineer or similar role
  • 2+ years of professional coding experience with any programming language
  • 2+ years of relevant experience as part of a test team
  • 2+ years of experience contributing to test automation and frameworks
  • Experience applying different software testing techniques, such as equivalent class portioning and boundary value testing
  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical field, such as IT, Engineering, Math, Physics, or similar with Computer Science coursework or minor
  • Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret Clearance
  • Relevant industry certifications, such as the Certified Associate in Software Testing (CAST) or the International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) Certification
