Clinical Support Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service, prioritizing quality care and patient satisfaction.
  • Promote patient safety by adhering to HIPAA guidelines and protecting sensitive information.
  • Anticipate and fulfill clinicians' needs by executing orders efficiently.
  • Coordinate patient transfers between waiting areas and exam rooms.
  • Collect, document, and share vital signs and other essential patient data with RNs, LVNs, or clinicians.
  • Perform medical procedures and administer medications as necessary for certification.
  • Maintain and clean exam and treatment areas, specimen processing areas, and medical equipment.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant program or relevant experience.
  • BLS certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.
  • Reliable transportation for traveling to client or patient sites.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of experience in an ambulatory care setting or military experience as a Medical Assistant/EMT.
  • Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience.
  • Experience in primary care or specialty care settings.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish.

Salary Range:$16.00 - $28.27 per hour, based on factors such as local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc.
