Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team at ProCare Therapy in Monterey, CA.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will support the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with communication disorders under the guidance of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to assess student progress and contribute insights for instructional adjustments.
  • Assist in incorporating diverse teaching methodologies and resources to effectively address students' diverse learning needs.
  • Support the creation of a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment, fostering a supportive atmosphere for students' communication development.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology or a related field.
  • Possess state certification or licensure as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Show familiarity with various teaching strategies, assistive technologies, and accommodations.
