Speech Language Pathologist Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our multidisciplinary team at MLee Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, Inc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities to identify clients' treatment goals.
  • Diagnose and treat disorders caused by injuries, illness, or other factors.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address specific needs.
  • Teach clients to improve their voices, fluency, vocabulary, and sentence structure.
  • Counsel clients and their families in coping with disorders.
  • Collaborate with other members of the care team and train family members or caregivers.
  • Research and develop new treatment methods.
Qualifications:
  • Masters Degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current CA Speech-Language Pathology License.
  • Ability to assess patient and family needs, and to also develop and implement a comprehensive plan of care.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards/requirements.
  • Knowledge of Medicare documentation standards.
  • Recommended affiliation with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
