Compensation: $16.50 per hour

We are currently seeking a dedicated Member Services Associate to enhance our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring an outstanding experience for our members, prospective members, and guests through exemplary customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome members, potential members, and guests, ensuring top-notch customer service.

Manage front desk operations, including:
  • Answering phone calls in a courteous manner and assisting with various inquiries.
  • Checking members into the system efficiently.
  • Conducting tours for prospective members.
  • Registering new members while calculating fees and monthly payments.
  • Assisting the Club Manager with cash drawer reconciliation as necessary.

  • Implement necessary updates to member accounts.
  • Address member inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating to management when required.
  • Contribute to maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the facility.

Daily Tasks:
  • Complete assigned tasks within the first hour of your shift.
  • Assist in fulfilling the daily cleaning checklist.
  • Conduct periodic walk-arounds and restroom inspections.
  • Participate in special cleaning projects as needed.

Additional Duties:
  • Perform other responsibilities as dictated by club needs.

Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Previous customer service experience is preferred.
  • Basic computer skills are necessary.
  • Reliability and punctuality are essential.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • A positive attitude and a passion for health and fitness.
  • Outstanding customer service skills, with the ability to engage positively with members and colleagues.
  • Strong listening skills, capable of empathizing and resolving issues.
  • Maintain professionalism in all interactions, using appropriate language and behavior.

Physical Requirements:
  • Frequent standing and walking throughout the shift.
  • Regular verbal communication in person and over the phone.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
  • May encounter hazardous materials during the shift.
