Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Member Services Associate to enhance our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring a positive experience for our members by providing outstanding customer service to all individuals interacting with our fitness center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome members, potential members, and guests, ensuring a high standard of customer service.

Manage front desk operations, including:
  • Answering phone calls in a courteous manner and assisting with various inquiries.
  • Checking members into the system efficiently.
  • Conducting tours for prospective members.
  • Processing new member registrations, including calculating fees and payment plans.
  • Assisting management with cash drawer reconciliation as necessary.

  • Facilitate updates to member accounts as required.
  • Address member inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary.
  • Contribute to maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the facility.

Daily Tasks:
  • Complete assigned tasks within the first hour of your shift.
  • Assist in executing the daily cleaning checklist.
  • Conduct regular walk-throughs and restroom inspections.
  • Support special cleaning projects as needed.

Additional Duties:
  • Perform other responsibilities as required by club operations.

Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Previous customer service experience is preferred.
  • Basic computer skills are necessary.
  • Reliability and punctuality are essential.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • A positive attitude and a genuine interest in fitness and health.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills; capable of engaging positively with members and colleagues.
  • Strong listening skills with the ability to empathize and resolve issues.
  • Demonstrate professionalism in all interactions.

Physical Requirements:
  • Regular standing and walking throughout the shift.
  • Frequent verbal communication in person and over the phone.
  • Occasional lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
  • May encounter cleaning chemicals during the shift.
