Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals in providing patient care
  • Develop and implement clinical nursing interventions to modify symptoms and enhance patient outcomes
  • Assess patient status and develop patient care plans to improve outcomes
  • Ensure safe and age-appropriate patient care during hours of unit operation
  • Function as a role model, advisor, resource, and leader for other members of the patient care team
Requirements
  • BSN degree from an accredited School of Nursing or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Maryland Registered Nurse License (RN) and American Heart Association CPR Certification (BLS)
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical equipment
