Telecom Lineman

Job Summary

Team Fishel, the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction business, is seeking an experienced Aerial/Overhead Telecom Lineman to join our Telecom Construction division in the Terre Haute, IN area.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and initiate projects to ensure timely completion and customer satisfaction.
• Establish and maintain OSHA and customer safety requirements to ensure a safe working environment.
• Set poles and maintain and repair overhead fiber optic facilities.
• Install new strand and lashing fiber, and install and maintain down guys, overhead guys, and other equipment.
• Build risers, install snow shoes/slack coils, and perform tree trimming.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Must have 1+ years of experience in the industry.
• Experience with commercial deliveries and transport in the Akron/Cleveland area is a plus.
• Basic tools required include climbing tools (belt and gaffs), basic hand tools, etc.
• A valid CDL-A is strongly desired.
