Telecom Lineman

Job Summary

Team Fishel, the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction business, is seeking an experienced Aerial/Overhead Telecom Lineman to join our team in the Terre Haute, IN area.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team establishing Team Fishel as the leader in the utility construction industry in the state of Indiana. As an Aerial/Overhead Telecom Lineman, you will be responsible for handling new business projects within our Telecom Construction division.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning and initiating projects
• Establishing OSHA and customer safety requirements
• Setting poles
• Maintaining and repairing overhead fiber optic facilities
• Installing new strand and lashing fiber
• Installing and maintaining down guys, overhead guys, etc.
• Building risers, installing snow shoes/slack coils
• Tree trimming

Requirements & Qualifications

• Must have 1+ years of experience in the industry
• Experience with commercial deliveries and transport in the Akron/Cleveland area
• Basic tools required could be climbing tools (belt and gaffs), basic hand tools, etc.
• Valid CDL-A is strongly desired
