Job SummaryUnder the general supervision of the site Administrator, the Para-Educator will assist classroom teachers in the preparation and execution of student academic interventions.
The Para-Educator will work closely with teachers to supervise students, deliver leveled intervention through one-on-one and small group instruction, and other methods designed to help students achieve grade-level standards.
The Para-Educator will also scaffold instruction to meet students at their current academic level, ensuring that they receive the support they need to succeed.
Requirements / QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 6 ECE Units and have a strong understanding of educational principles and practices.
