Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist

PRN Healthcare is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Everett, Washington.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cath Lab Technologist to work in our state-of-the-art catheterization laboratory. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting with cardiac catheterization procedures, preparing patients for procedures, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with cardiac catheterization procedures, including preparing patients, operating equipment, and maintaining a safe environment
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining procedures, obtaining informed consent, and positioning patients
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, including disinfecting equipment and disposing of biohazardous waste
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure smooth and efficient procedures
  • Document patient information and procedure details accurately and thoroughly
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist
  • Experience working in a catheterization laboratory
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and equipment
