Behavioral Therapist

The Behavioral Consultant (BC) plays a crucial role in the success of our clients at Alternative Community Resource Programs Inc. Under the supervision of the Program Director, the BC performs a variety of job duties, staying up-to-date with clinical updates and recommendations from written orders.

The BC develops and directs individualized treatment plans collaboratively with consumers and families, providing consultation, assessment, observation, and data analysis specific to identified target behaviors.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing Individualized Treatment Plans (ITPs) with clients and families, highlighting strengths and areas for improvement.
• Providing preference assessments, reinforcement, extinction, and time-out strategies as prescribed by licensed psychologists or psychiatrists.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

• A licensed behavioral specialist certification, BCBA certification, or a graduate degree in ABA.
• At least 1 year of full-time experience in providing mental health direct services to children, youth, or young adults, or a graduate degree in psychology, social work, education, or counseling.

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $40,000 to $45,000 per year.
