About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Technician to join our team at Energizer Holdings, Inc. in a secondary packaging role at our Global Auto Care division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain inspection and documentation procedures to ensure product quality and compliance with standards and guidelines.
  • Inspect incoming raw materials and components, maintaining quality control charts and records of analysis results.
  • Notify management of quality issues, coordinate line shutdowns, and quarantine potentially defective products for further inspection.
  • Investigate causes of failures, develop preventative measures, and review paperwork and data analysis.
  • Record, process, and compile data accurately to identify trends and recommend next steps.
  • Maintain a high level of visual awareness and set standards for improved quality metrics.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision and identify areas for quality process improvement.
  • Develop and audit 5S standards for packaging lines and train others to use established methods and standard procedures.
  • Responsible for Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and feedback to customer complaints.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Proficient with Excel and Word.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a quality assurance position.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with supervisors and coworkers.
  • Effective organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to coach others to improve quality standards.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years packaging operations experience.
  • Proficient with SAP.
  • Prior knowledge of the automotive aftermarket industry.
  • Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office.
