Job Summary

We are seeking highly skilled musicians to join the Colgate University Orchestra as principal musicians, section musicians, or substitutes. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside world-class faculty and staff at a highly selective residential liberal arts institution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform in two concerts per semester, working up to a maximum of 14 hours per concert series.
  • Collaborate with professional musicians and Colgate students to deliver high-quality performances.
  • Participate in rehearsals and sectional coaching to ensure exceptional musicality.
Requirements
  • Professional orchestral experience is required.
  • Music school or conservatory training is preferred.
