Job Summary

We are seeking highly skilled musicians to join the Colgate University Orchestra as principal musicians, section musicians, or to be part of our substitute list. As a member of our orchestra, you will have the opportunity to work alongside professional musicians and Colgate students, performing two concerts per semester under the direction of Professor Marietta Cheng.

Responsibilities
  • Perform in 1-4 concerts per year, with a maximum of 14 hours per concert series
  • Participate in rehearsals and performances as scheduled
  • Collaborate with other musicians and staff to ensure a high-quality musical experience
Requirements
  • Professional orchestral experience is required
  • Music school or conservatory training is preferred
