Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to fill the position of Associate Dean for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. This role will play a critical part in advancing the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing's commitment to social justice and health equity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the School and the larger Penn community.
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to advance DEI initiatives and create a more inclusive environment.
  • Provide leadership and administrative support for the Office of DEI.
  • Develop and manage budgets and resources to support DEI initiatives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to advance DEI goals.
Requirements
  • Terminal degree (PhD or DNP) in a relevant field.
  • Postdoctoral training or academic experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership and administrative skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups.
  • Commitment to advancing social justice and health equity.
