This role entails the accurate coding of inpatient surgical encounters, focusing on a diverse case mix including Urology, Colorectal, and Gynecological procedures.

Candidates will be required to work on-site, as the facility currently utilizes paper-based EHR/EMR systems for coding. Transition to electronic systems is anticipated in the near future.

Required Skills & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED
• Relevant coding certification (CPC, CCS, RHIT, RHIA, etc.)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Surgical Coding within an Inpatient environment

Benefit packages for this position commence on the 31st day of employment and encompass medical, dental, and vision insurance, along with HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, as well as access to a 401k retirement plan with employer matching.
