Job Summary

As a Forge Operator at Aerotek, you will be responsible for operating robotic cranes to load and unload steel to and from the forge, as well as operating equipment that lifts up to 200 lbs of steel. You will also be responsible for identifying and managing processing sequences and furnace temperature, and performing dye checks of forgings.

This is a permanent position with a 12 on 2 off schedule, and you will be working in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment with metals weighing anywhere from 20 - 350 lbs. You will be required to work with metals that go up to 800 degrees, and you will need to be able to identify and manage processing sequences and furnace temperature.

Aerotek offers a competitive salary of $28/HR, as well as employee benefits including medical, dental & vision, life insurance, health advocacy and employee assistance programs, a 401(k) plan, and employee discounts.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift up to 200 lbs
  • Ability to work with metals that go up to 800 degrees
