Job Summary

Kedplasma is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Professional to join our team as a Donor Care Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors, while also providing exceptional customer service and support.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough physical examinations of donors to assess their suitability for plasma donation
  • Explain informed consents and answer donor questions to ensure they are fully informed and comfortable with the donation process
  • Administer immunizations and monitor responses to ensure the health and safety of our donors
  • Provide emergency care and respond to adverse reactions in a calm and professional manner
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of donor interactions and medical procedures
  • Collaborate with our medical team to ensure the highest level of care and support for our donors
Requirements
  • Graduate of a recognized healthcare-related educational program, such as nursing or physician assistant
  • Current licensure in the state where the center operates
  • Excellent patient assessment and communication skills
  • Ability to manage emergency situations with a calm demeanor
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a donor care or plasma collection environment
