Overview:
Security Operations Specialist (JWAC)

Bowhead is seeking a Security Operations Specialist to provide support for the Joint Warfare Analysis Center contract.

The Security Operations Specialist will deliver comprehensive security services, encompassing special security, information security, personnel security, operations security, industrial security, physical security, communications security, and anti-terrorism/force protection duties. This role requires adaptability and responsiveness to evolving security scenarios in alignment with established regulations and Air Force policies.


Responsibilities:
Adhere to and implement all Standard Operating Procedures.


The Security Operations Specialist will be tasked with protecting all client Government property and controlled items allocated for Contractor use, ensuring the security of all Government facilities, equipment, and materials throughout the work period.

There should be no more than one (1) safeguarding error annually that leads to a security infraction, with zero violations.

Ensure that all combinations and keys assigned to Contractor personnel are properly accounted for and not accessed by unauthorized individuals.

Oversee customer alarm systems during operational hours. Alarm monitoring duties will transition to and from the installation outside of operational hours. The Contractor must be capable of assessing and executing necessary actions to address alarm conditions, which may include security, fire, and active shooter alarms. Any actions requiring further investigation or follow-up must be completed promptly.

Notify the customer Security Office within fifteen (15) minutes and the installation as necessary, in accordance with the customer Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

The Contractor will conduct perimeter security inspections as directed by the Government and report any security-related concerns in or around customer facilities. Any security breaches or potential threats must be communicated following the customer Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).


The Contractor is responsible for securing all Government facilities, equipment, and materials at the conclusion of each work period in accordance with customer security protocols.


Coordinate vehicle requests for Government, civilian, and military personnel only, provide vehicle keys and trip logs to requestors prior to trips, and ensure the return of these items upon completion.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree and relevant experience are required. Additional work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education for highly qualified candidates.

Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Exemplary written and verbal communication skills.

Strong attention to detail.

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Capable of communicating effectively both orally and in writing.

Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift up to 10-20 pounds.

Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.

Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess an active security clearance at the Top Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for a Top Secret clearance at this location.
