Position Summary:
Under the guidance of a registered nurse, the Cardiovascular Cath Lab Technician performs specialized hemodynamic monitoring procedures and assists physicians during various interventions. This role involves working with patients across all age groups, from adolescents to seniors. The technician also plays a vital role in training Cardiovascular Technicians and other Cath Lab staff, ensuring that established competencies are met within the designated introductory period. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor cardiac procedures and accurately calculate hemodynamic data.
- Assist nursing staff with emergency interventions.
- Maintain and ensure quality control of medical equipment.
- Clean and prepare instruments and supplies for sterilization.
- Assume the role of monitor technician as required.

Qualifications:
Required: Graduate of an accredited Radiology or Cardiology Technology program or equivalent education.
Preferred: Two years of experience in Interventional Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology.

Certifications:
Required: ARRT, RCIS, or RCES; BLS and ACLS certifications must be obtained within six months of hire.
