Job Summary

The Reconstruction Foreman is a key member of the Paul Davis in Cleveland Metro team, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day aspects of reconstruction projects. This includes managing project crews, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and overseeing the efficient execution of the reconstruction process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Collaborate with Project Managers to understand project objectives, scope, and requirements.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise a team of subcontractors and/or field staff, assigning tasks and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Safety and Compliance: Determine safety measures and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that reconstruction work meets quality standards and specifications.
  • Communication: Maintain clear and open communication with the project team, including subcontractors and stakeholders.
  • Reporting: Provide regular progress reports to the Project Coordinator and Project Managers.
Requirements
  • Construction Knowledge: Strong knowledge of residential and commercial construction systems and techniques.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of office technology, especially Microsoft.
  • Administrative Skills: Knowledgeable about file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.
  • Soft Skills: Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication and organization skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented and able to analyze and prioritize tasks.
  • Customer Service: Customer service-oriented and able to provide excellent service to clients.
  • Time Management: Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure.
