Key Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient exams, procedures, and treatments
- Prepare patients for exams and procedures, ensuring a comfortable and safe experience
- Take vital signs, record medical histories, and update patient charts
- Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Requirements
- Current national certification as a Medical Assistant, such as CMA, RMA, NCMA, or CCMA
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in a medical setting, preferably in OB/GYN care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
