About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Maplewood Senior Living. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, promoting their health and well-being, and supporting their independence.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and provide direct care to residents
  • Teach and counsel residents on health and wellness topics
  • Participate in assessments and develop care plans under the supervision of the Resident Services Director
  • Support residents and their families, and provide emotional support and guidance
  • Oversight of Certified Nursing Assistants and training of associates
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state
  • Two years of full-time or full-time equivalent clinical experience
  • Experience working with older adults, preferably in a senior living setting
  • Ability to perform tasks that may be physically demanding, such as pushing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
