Job Title: Perioperative Services Director

About Chi:
Chi is a leading healthcare organization recognized for its commitment to research and clinical excellence. We are seeking an exceptional Registered Nurse to lead our perioperative services team.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate patient flow throughout perioperative services areas.
  • Consult on patient care situations requiring advanced competency and knowledge.
  • Serve as a clinical resource for problem solving and assist staff with patient-related issues.
  • Develop staff competence in the delivery of nursing care.
  • Ensure cost-effective operations and initiatives.

Continuous Quality Improvement:
  • Facilitate unit-based performance enhancement programs.
  • Support and participate in unit-based research projects.

Human Resource/Financial Management:
  • Promote shared leadership and individual accountability.
  • Coordinate staffing and ensure staffing coverage within budgetary guidelines.
  • Ensure cost-effective staff utilization.
  • Participate in the hiring process and coach/counsel staff.

Qualifications:
  • Registered Nurse with a Bachelor's degree and minimum of three years of leadership experience.
  • Five years of leadership experience in the discipline.
  • Master's Degree with no experience.
